How To Read Women's Signals

If you happen to notice a woman giving you one signal, it doesn't necessarily mean that she wants you. It's more a matter of pattern and context. It also depends on who is giving the signals. For example, signals from shy people carry more weight than from outgoing people who may be flirtatious with everyone.

Also, you don't need to play a passive role in reading signals. You can play an active role in methodically seducing a woman and read her signals as feedback of your progress.

Positive Signals

Eyes

she gives you occasional glances
looks at you, eye contact
stares at you for a moment
meets your eye and looks away downward
stares at you for over three seconds
she faces toward you
her eyes narrow slightly
she examines your face, especially your mouth

Face & Head

she smiles
she gives an exaggerated smile
she licks her lips
she pouts her lips
adjusts her hair
flips or smooths her hair or grooms herself, plays with her hair
she runs her hand through her hair
she moves her hair out of her face or behind her ears
she raises her eyebrows
touches her ear or earlobe
she blushes
she avoids touching her face
she tosses her head back
tilts her head, especially to the left

Hands & Arms

crosses her arms (is this true?)
exposes the palms of her hands to you
she doesn't fidget (her hands or feet)
fiddles with her jewelry: twists rings or tugs at necklaces

Body

her posture changes to look alert
she is alert and energetic
touches herself gently
crosses and uncrosses her legs
dangles shoe from foot
adjusts her clothing
loosens any clothing
feet firmly on floor
leans forward, toward you
leans toward you when you speak
she conspicuously parades around or poses so as to show off her body
strokes her thigh
thrusts her chest out to "show off the goods"
walks with a wiggle or swagger

Other

caresses objects
she touches you for any reason, especially on the chest
she laughs or draws attention to herself
she speaks especially loudly to her friend, to draw your attention or to give you information about herself
She goes out of her way to encounter you frequently
This applies to both sexes.
stands or sits unnecessarily close to you, enters your personal space
she tries to initiate small talk
she flirts with you
she laughs too much at trivial things

Things I've Noticed

She says "Hi" specifically to you when you are with a group of friends.
She tries to provoke you into talking to her if you normally don't.
She says or does things specifically to indicate that she remembers you or what you've said or done.
She specifically avoids looking at you in a situation where a neutral person would. Of course, this may indicate that she is angry with you, which isn't necessarily a good sign.

never sneaks a peek at you

looks away quickly when she catches your eye
looks away to the side
keeps arms open, not crossed
doesn't adjust hair or clothing
keeps mouth closed with lips pressed together
tense, restless, impatient
keeps legs crossed
